Edge guard is manufactured in all sill colours, but in case of sills made in A1, A2 and A3 colours the colour A1 is used. The maximum length in one piece is 58 cm x 3 cm and height up to 1cm.

The length of the edge guard should be 1.5cm shorter than the width of the sill. (The sill is placed approx. 1cm under the window with a 5mm radius at the front edge, hence the edge guard must be at least 1.5cm shorter). If you have roller blind rails (4 cm), mosquito net (3 cm), exterior blinds (4 cm), the length of the edge guard should correspond to them. The edge guard can also be installed only from the façade to the edge of the sill (3-5cm).

ADVICE

Facade and edge guard should be in contact, so we recommend the length of the window sill to be only 1-2cm longer than the width of the window.

First check whether the length of the edge guard fits the length of the window sill or whether you should cut it to the desired length with the cutting disc for stone. On the bottom side of the edge guard apply elastic adhesive and glue it to the edge of the sill on its left and right side.

If there’s foil adhesive left on the sill, remove it with a NITRO DILLUTER or an INDUSTRIAL CLEANNG AGENT (JOINERY SHOPS).
